New Owners for Lititz Springs Inn & Bulls Head Public House

In early February, the Lititz Springs Inn and Bulls Head Public House will welcome new owners. The Clair family will take over the property, continuing its long tradition of hospitality that dates back to 1764.

For the past nine years, the Stoudt family has owned and managed the inn and pub with care. During that time, the property became a downtown landmark and earned national recognition, including:

• Best Beer Bar in America by USA Today
• Best of Weddings Hall of Fame by The Knot

“This is a big win for Lititz,” said David Stoudt, current owner. “The inn is more than a business—it’s part of this town’s fabric. I wanted it to stay with a local family who understands that responsibility.”

Guests will notice no changes. The same team and leadership will remain in place. “Your favorite bartenders will still greet you with a pint and a smile. The dining room will still be your spot for date nights, business lunches, and family dinners. And our events team will keep making your big moments magical,” said Erin Stroyan-Peduzzi, General Manager.

The Clair family will be the 22nd owners since the Moravian Church sold the property to Samuel Lichtenthaler in 1854. “David and the Stoudt family have cared for this property with dedication,” said Shaun Clair. “We’re honored to continue that work.”

For the Clairs, this is about stewardship—protecting what works and honoring the inn’s history. This transition is a handoff, not a departure. The property’s strength lies in its people, traditions, and deep ties to the Lititz community.
